2.1 Information We Do NOT Collect

HanhonKey never collects the following information:

• Message content typed on the keyboard
• Sensitive information such as passwords and credit card numbers
• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Location data
• Contact information

2.2 Locally Stored Information

The following information is stored only on your device and is not transmitted externally:

• User dictionary (frequently used Japanese words)
• App settings
• Usage frequency data for Japanese suggestions

2.3 Keyboard Improvement Data (Optional Collection)

Collected Items:

• Selected word and hiragana input patterns (e.g., "わたし" → "私" selection)
• Previous word (for context analysis, e.g., "は" after "私")
• Selection position in the suggestion list
• Time of day (0-23 hours)
• Platform and app version

Anonymization Methods:

• User identifiers are anonymized using SHA256 hash
• Sensitive patterns such as numbers with 4+ digits, emails, and URLs are automatically filtered
• No personally identifiable information is collected

Collection Purpose:

• Improving Japanese suggestion algorithm quality
• Optimizing frequently used word priorities
• Identifying missing words in the dictionary

Retention Period: 2 years from collection date

Withdrawing Consent: You can disable "Keyboard Improvement Participation" at any time in the settings.

3. Full Access Permission

HanhonKey requests "Allow Full Access" permission to provide the following features:

• Translation feature (Korean-Japanese bidirectional translation)
• Japanese dictionary search
• User dictionary feature

4. Data Security

All data is protected by iOS security systems. When using the translation feature, text is encrypted before transmission.

5. User Rights

Users can exercise the following rights at any time:

• Delete all local data by removing the app
• Directly edit and delete user dictionary entries
• Disable Full Access permission (some features will be limited)
• Withdraw "Keyboard Improvement Participation" consent (can be disabled anytime in settings)
• Request deletion of collected data (contact us below)

6. Third-Party Services

HanhonKey uses Google Cloud services for translation. Only the text entered for translation is transmitted; no personal identification information is sent.

7. Changes to Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be modified in accordance with legal requirements or service changes. We will notify you of any changes through the app or website.
