๐Ÿ“– About this page

The core features (Hangul input, hiragana conversion, kanji conversion, etc.) work the same as on iOS. This page covers only what's different on Android. For the full guide, see the User Guide.

1. Switching Keyboards

The way you switch to HanhonKey is different from iOS.

๐ŸŽ iOS

Tap or long-press the ๐ŸŒ Globe button at the bottom-left of the keyboard

๐Ÿค– Android

Tap the keyboard icon at the bottom-right of the keyboard, or switch from the notification bar at the bottom of the screen

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Set as default keyboard for convenience

Setting HanhonKey as your default keyboard means it opens automatically when you tap a text field. See the Android Installation Guide for details.

2. English Input

English input mode is an Android-exclusive feature not available on iOS.

๐ŸŽ iOS

Only Korean and Japanese input supported. English requires switching to the iOS default keyboard.

๐Ÿค– Android

In addition to Korean and Japanese, English input mode is supported. Type in all languages without switching keyboards.
