These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the HanjaKey application ("App") provided by Waldenjae. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

HanjaKey is an iOS keyboard app that provides Korean keyboard and Hanja (Chinese character) conversion functionality.

Key Features:

  • Korean (Hangul) input
  • Hanja conversion
  • Classical Chinese interpretation (AI-based)
  • User dictionary management

2. Subscription and Payment

2.1 Subscription Types

Monthly Subscription
  • Duration: 1 month
  • Auto-renewal: Automatically renews each month
  • Cancellation: Can be cancelled at least 24 hours before the next billing date
Annual Subscription
  • Duration: 1 year
  • Auto-renewal: Automatically renews each year
  • Cancellation: Can be cancelled at least 24 hours before the next billing date
Lifetime Purchase
  • One-time payment for permanent use
  • No auto-renewal
Interpretation Credits
  • Consumable product, non-refundable

2.2 Payment and Renewal

  • All payments are processed through the Apple App Store
  • Subscription fees are charged to your iTunes account upon purchase confirmation
  • Auto-renewing subscriptions are automatically renewed 24 hours before the current period ends
  • Renewal fees are charged to your account 24 hours before renewal

2.3 Subscription Cancellation

Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime in your iTunes account settings:

  1. Settings β†’ [Your Name] β†’ Subscriptions
  2. Select HanjaKey β†’ Cancel Subscription

Note: Cancellation takes effect after the current billing period ends. Already paid periods are non-refundable.

2.4 Refund Policy

  • Subscription fees are subject to Apple's refund policy
  • Refund requests should be directed to Apple through the App Store
  • Lifetime purchases and credit products are non-refundable after use begins

3. Free Trial Period

  • A 7-day free trial may be offered to new users
  • If not cancelled 24 hours before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription
  • Previous subscribers are not eligible for free trials

4. Usage Restrictions

The following activities are prohibited:

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
  • Attempting to copy the App's source code or algorithms
  • Using the App for illegal or inappropriate purposes
  • Unauthorized access to other users' accounts

5. Intellectual Property

  • All content, features, and designs of the App are the exclusive property of Waldenjae
  • Users may only use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

6. Disclaimer

  • The App is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties
  • Waldenjae is not responsible for service interruptions, errors, or data loss
  • Accuracy of AI-based interpretation results is not guaranteed

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waldenjae shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.

8. Privacy

  • Personal data processing follows the separate Privacy Policy
  • The App does not transmit user data to servers

9. Changes to Terms

  • Waldenjae may modify these Terms at any time
  • Changes will be notified through the App or website
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
